MCO Sailing

Conditions

  1. With your booking (written, per e-mail or online form) a binding character of the booking from your side arises.
  2. With our confirmation (written or per e-mail) the binding character arises for MCO-Sailing.
  3. The events correspond to the descriptions on the website of MCO Sailing or the MCO SailingAcademy.
  4. Customers fill out the questionnaires and forms sent by MCO, sign them and return them to MCO by post or e-mail.
  5. The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the events due to unfavourable weather conditions and/or other maritime reasons and holds himself harmless.
  6. The organiser endeavours to provide an adequate replacement.
  7. The skipper reserves the right to dismiss crew members who do not follow instructions or endanger the safety of the event.

Cancellation Conditions

  1. Up to 6 weeks before the start of the event, the cancellation fee is 50% of the price confirmed by MCO.
  2. From 6 weeks before the start of the event, the cancellation fee is 100% of the price confirmed by MCO.
  3. MCO recommends to take out a respective travel cancellation insurance.
  4. The booking can be transferred to other people after consultation with MCO.
  5. The cruise can be cancelled under certain circumstances (illness of the instructor, failure of the ship…). This will happen as early as possible. In this case, all course fees that have already been paid will be repaid. The repayment does not include other costs (flights, journey, equipment…), which have been made by the customer. The upper limit of the repayment is the cost of the participation in the course, cruise or event.

Cash Register

  1. All crew members pay equally into the cash register.
  2. The skipper does not pay into the cash register.
  3. The on-board cash register is used to pay all (!) joint cost for the cruise. These include marine diesel, mooring fees, meals on board (not spirits), the replacement of lost equipment, small repairs (unless they are covered by the insurance), permits for national parks …

Cancellation Conditions and Possibilities

  1. With your booking 50% of the price confirmed by MCO is due.
  2. If the amount is not transferred within 14 days after acceptance, the reservation can be withdrawn by MCO.
  3. The remaining payment is due no later than 6 weeks before the start of the event.
  4. You will receive an online invoice from MCO-Sailing, where you can choose the type of payment, as well as an invoice in PDF form.
  5. Payments are made by standard bank transfer, PayPal or credit cards.
  6. You can get an overview of the status of your invoices in your invoice customer centre (access via online invoice).
